The net flow of Foreign Direct Investments (FDI) stood at 4.411 billion dirhams (MMDH) at the end of February 2024, up by 24.9% compared to the same period a year earlier, according to the Office des Changes.
In the first two months of 2024, FDI revenues increased by 17.5% to 6.49 MMDH, while expenses grew by 4.4%, as reported by the Office which has just published its monthly foreign trade indicators for the month of February.
As for the net flow of Moroccan Direct Investments abroad (MDIA), it stood at -606 million dirhams, the same source continues, noting that the sales of these investments amounted to 3.047 MMDH, an increase of 39.3% compared to the same period in 2023.
Expenses of MDIA, on the other hand, totaled 2.441 MMDH at the end of February this year, a decrease of 25.3% compared to the same period the previous year.
