Morocco: Morocco wins two gold medals – Africa Links 24

Moroccan champions Said Oubaya and Fatima Zahra Chajai won two gold medals at the international tournament “Karate Premier League Antalya”, held from March 15 to 17 in Turkey. Said Oubaya won the gold medal in the -67 kg category, while the silver medal went to Italian Maresca Luca and the bronze medal to Japanese Kozaki Yugo. Fatima Zahra Chajai, on the other hand, won the gold medal in the -61 kg category, with the silver medal going to Belgian Ajaray Maryam and the bronze medal to Kazakh Kanay Assel. The international tournament “Karate Premier League Antalya” brought together some of the world’s best karateka following the inaugural tournament in Paris (January 26-28, 2024). After Antalya, the Karate Premier League will move to Cairo (April 19-21, 2024) and Casablanca (May 31- June 2, 2024).
