During this meeting, the discussions highlighted common areas of interest and ways to further enhance bilateral military cooperation, fight against terrorism, illegal immigration, cross-border crime, and illicit trafficking.

In this context, the German Minister expressed the willingness to strengthen bilateral collaboration through the conclusion of a Military Cooperation Agreement, which will be followed by specific agreements in the defense and protection of classified information sectors.

Mr. Loudyi took this opportunity to emphasize the role of Morocco as an important actor of stability and peace under the leadership of His Majesty the King, may God Glorify Him, through the adoption of a multidimensional strategy to counter terrorism and illicit trafficking threats and ensure border security.

Mr. Loudyi underscored that combating these threats is a shared responsibility that would benefit from collective and significant efforts at the bilateral level and within the European Union.

Mr. Loudyi also highlighted the Royal Initiative aiming to transform the Atlantic facade of Africa into a hub of economic integration, a space of peace, stability, and shared prosperity, including all countries along the Atlantic belt of the Continent.

The Royal Initiative also aims to facilitate access for landlocked countries in the Sahel region to the Atlantic Ocean, which, according to the Royal Vision, would enhance the economic and social development of these countries, as well as security and peace in our European and Sahel-Saharan neighborhood.

At the end of the meeting, both parties expressed their willingness to further strengthen bilateral military cooperation based on mutual trust and respect, and to explore new collaboration opportunities, particularly in the areas of training, cyber defense, and defense industry.
