The 6th edition of the Fashion Trust Arabia (FTA) Prize will take place in October in Marrakech, as part of the Qatar-Morocco 2024 Cultural Year, announced the philanthropic organization that initiated this fashion competition.
The “Years of Culture Qatar-Morocco 2024” event was inaugurated on February 20 with a special exhibition of Berber jewelry from the Royal Palace at the Museum of Islamic Art in Doha, in recognition of the exceptional ties that bind the two countries, the two brotherly peoples and the two Heads of State, His Majesty King Mohammed VI, and His Highness Sheikh Tamim Ben Hamad Al Thani, it is recalled.
As part of its “ongoing commitment” to diversity and inclusion, and in partnership with the “Years of Culture” initiative, aimed at strengthening relations between nations and their peoples, FTA chose “the dynamic city of Marrakech as the host city of the event”, highlights the organization that aims to defend the regional creativity of communities.
The FTA 2024 Prize will welcome guests from around the world to explore and celebrate Moroccan cultural heritage, as part of this initiative which aims to “be at the forefront of sustainable cultural partnerships between Qatar and other countries, promoting respect and understanding between diverse cultures by developing programs related to all aspects of culture,” the same source indicates. To accompany this announcement, FTA has created a short video featuring Moroccan talents from various creative backgrounds, each illustrating in their own way the richness of Moroccan art and talents, it is added.
