In the second match of this group, Saudi Arabia, the host country of the upcoming 2027 Asian Cup, could only manage a draw (1-1) away to Kazakhstan.
However, the Saudis maintain the top spot in the standings with 10 points, while the Kazakhs have been dropped to third position (5 pts).
