The National Motorways Company of Morocco (ADM) informs that on the occasion of Eid El Fitr, the entire highway network will experience significant traffic on Monday, Tuesday, and Sunday.
Indeed, heavy traffic is expected on Monday, April 8 between 3pm and 10pm, Tuesday, April 9 between 3pm and 10pm, and Sunday, April 14 between 4pm and 10pm, which coincides with the return of Eid holidays, ADM said in a statement.
“For a safe and comfortable journey, ADM recommends to its customers to plan their trip in advance, check the real-time traffic conditions by downloading the ADM TRAFIC application, stay alert to weather alerts, and be cautious in case of strong winds, rain or fog, check the remaining balance on the Jawaz Pass and top it up before using the highway, take breaks every two hours, and check the condition of the tires,” the same source emphasized.
In preparation for the expected peak in traffic, ADM informs highway users that it will suspend extension and maintenance work on the national highway network during this period, for increased safety and traffic flow.
