A government council will be held next Thursday under the chairmanship of the head of government, Aziz Akhannouch, with several bills and decrees on the agenda. At the beginning of its work, the council will examine a bill amending the Dahir forming the code of obligations and contracts, according to a statement from the office of the head of government.
The council will then examine two draft decrees, the first of which concerns the adoption of the Code of Professional Duties of Certified Accountants, while the second deals with the quality and food safety of edible salt. It will also review a cooperation agreement in the field of maritime transport and ports, signed on July 4, 2023 in Rabat between the Kingdom of Morocco and the Sultanate of Oman, along with a bill approving the agreement.
The council will conclude its work by reviewing proposals for appointments to senior positions in accordance with Article 92 of the Constitution.
