A heat wave is expected from Saturday to Monday in several provinces of the Kingdom with temperatures ranging between 32 and 41°C, announced the General Directorate of Meteorology (DGM).
Temperatures ranging between 36 and 41°C are expected from Saturday to Monday in the provinces of Inezgane-Ait Melloul, Agadir-Ida-Ou-Tanane, Tiznit, Taroudant, Chtouka-Ait Baha, Guelmim, Sidi Ifni, Tan-Tan, Assa-Zag, Boujdour, Laayoune, Es-Semara, Tarfaya, Aousserd, and Oued Ed-Dahab, indicates the DGM in an alert bulletin with an “orange” vigilance level.
Hot weather (34-38 °C) is expected on Saturday and Sunday in the provinces of Fquih Ben Salah, Beni Mellal, Settat, El Jadida, Sidi Bennour, Marrakech, Essaouira, El Kelaa des Sraghna, Chichaoua, Azilal, Al-Haouz, Rehamna, Safi, and Youssoufia, the same source adds.
The mercury should also show temperatures between 32 and 35°C on Sunday in the provinces of Berrechid, Benslimane, Nouaceur, Casablanca, Mediouna, Mohammedia, Khemisset, and Skhirate-Temara, concludes the same source.
