The Board of Directors of CIMR met on Wednesday, March 20, 2024 under the chairmanship of Khalid CHEDDADI to finalize the accounts for the year 2023. Following the meeting, Mr. CHEDDADI asked the members of the Board of Directors to exercise his retirement rights.
The Board of Directors accepted this resignation and warmly thanked Mr. Khalid CHEDDADI for his work over the past 19 years at CIMR, including the success of CIMR’s exit from the regulatory framework of the insurance code, the adoption of the status of a Mutual Retirement Company, as well as the strengthening of technical reserves throughout his tenure.
The Board of Directors then decided to appoint Hassan BOULAKNADAL as the President and CEO of CIMR. Mr. BOULAKNADAL is a seasoned banker and financier and was previously the head of the Office des Changes.
The Board of Directors expressed their best wishes for success to the new President and CEO and assured him of their support.
Mr. Khalid CHEDDADI will continue to serve as President and CEO until the effective start of Mr. Hassan BOULAKNADAL’s term.
