After heavyweights from the Capitol such as Lindsey Graham and Bob Menendez, it is now the turn of rising figures in the American political scene to visit the Kingdom to advocate for the Moroccan-American alliance. Unlike previous visits, which were more focused on security cooperation, this time the emphasis has been on Morocco’s potential as a possible gateway for American foreign direct investment in Africa.
