The First Lady of Côte d’Ivoire, Mrs. Dominique Ouattara, arrived on Tuesday afternoon in Salé for a working visit to Morocco as part of the launch of the second phase of the Ivorian campaign “United, we understand better”, which aims to restore hearing to disadvantaged African children.
Upon her arrival at the Rabat-Salé airport, Mrs. Ouattara was welcomed by Her Royal Highness Princess Lalla Asmae.
After reviewing a section of the Auxiliary Forces paying honors, Princess Lalla Asmae and the First Lady of Côte d’Ivoire were greeted by the Wali of the Rabat-Salé-Kénitra region, governor of the prefecture of Rabat, Mohamed Yacoubi, the president of the Rabat-Salé-Kénitra region, Rachid El Abdi, and the governor of the prefecture of Salé, Omar Touimi.
Princess Lalla Asmae and Mrs. Dominique Ouattara were also greeted by the president of the Salé Prefectural Council, Noureddine Lazrek, the president of the Salé Municipal Council, Omar Sentissi, the vice president of the Lions International and representative of the Lions of Africa, Manoj Shah, the coordinator of the Lalla Asmaa Foundation, Karim Essakalli, and the ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco in Abidjan, Abdelmalek Kettani.
Subsequently, Princess Lalla Asmae was greeted by the members of the delegation accompanying the First Lady of Côte d’Ivoire, including Mr. Yves Tadet, Chargé d’Affaires of the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire in Morocco, Mrs. Patricia Sylvie Yao, director of cabinet, and Mrs. Nadine Sangare, national director of the Children of Africa Foundation.
The First Lady of Côte d’Ivoire was then invited to the traditional offering ceremony of milk and dates.
After a brief break in the Royal Lounge of the airport, the procession of Princess Lalla Asmae and the First Lady of Côte d’Ivoire headed to the Royal Guest Palace, the residence of Mrs. Dominique Ouattara.
