Event: On the magical evening of Friday, March 29, Marrakech El Bahja shone brightly, bringing together over 1,500 people around the largest iftar table in Africa, stretching majestically over 500 meters, for the second edition of the “Iftar of the Heart and Senses.”
This initiative, led by the Association of Restaurateurs of the Wilaya of Marrakech (ARWM) and M Avenue, in support of the SOS Children’s Villages Association, was dedicated to the reconstruction and renovation of schools damaged by the earthquake in the Al Haouz region, where each participant contributed to changing the future of these children.
A lineup of committed personalities
The heart of Marrakech beat to the rhythm of sharing and encounters, in an atmosphere electrified by a high-level artistic program. The evening saw the participation of iconic figures from culture, art, and social sectors, as well as influential personalities from the world of business and philanthropy. Rahal Maître Traiteur’s performances delighted palates, while the stage came alive with the voices of Ahmed Soultan, Mourad Bouriqui, Moncef Bouriqui, Mohamed Reda, Eko, Youssef Jrifi, Shaimae Abdelaziz, as well as the Bana Troupe and the Bakhou Troupe. The inspiring presence of Saad Abid as host and moderator added depth and resonance to the event, engaging the crowd in a reflection on the importance of sharing, unity, and mutual support.
