The slogan and visual identity of the Morocco-Portugal-Spain 2030 bid revealed

The slogan “YallaVamos 2030” and the visual identity of the joint bid of Morocco-Portugal-Spain for the 2030 World Cup were unveiled on Tuesday in Lisbon.

Football will reinvent itself once again in 2030, four years after the first World Cup featuring 48 countries instead of the previous 32, as Morocco, Spain, and Portugal will jointly host the first World Cup spanning two continents.
On Tuesday, the organizers of this global event revealed the slogan and logo of the competition at the Cidade do Futebol of the Portuguese Football Federation. During an event attended by the president of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation, Fouzi Lekjaa, the president of the Portuguese Football Federation, Fernando Gomes, and Fernando Sanz, of the Royal Spanish Football Federation, the pillars and narrative of this bid, as well as the website, official video, and social media pages were unveiled.

A logo blending Arabic, Spanish, and Portuguese

The visual identity of the “YallaVamos 2030” bid is captivating. The coordinating committee explored the dimension of naive art that links many artists from the three countries and two continents. With arcs of circles in solid red, yellow, green, and blue colors, the visual identity celebrates the colors of the three flags, as well as symbolizing elements of nature.
“To the right, the number 0 is illustrated by a sun whose three rays – our three countries – are turned towards the future to shape together the football of tomorrow, enclosing a vintage black and white soccer ball echoing our long tradition and passion for football.

To the left, the number 3 showcases the sea and the beach that characterize our three countries, where our children gather every day to play ball. Because everything starts here, from a blue sea and golden sand. Everything starts with our shared nature: Sun, sea, and wind. These natural elements will also play a major role in making this event the most sustainable FIFA World Cup in history. And on a closer look, these arcs of circles are also bridges that unite our three nations, our two continents, and football fans from around the world,” it is explained.

An eco-responsible World Cup

The beautifully composed presentation clip of the strong football moments of the three nations exclusively emphasizes the close ties between the three hosting countries. “In 2030, as we celebrate the 100th anniversary of the first World Cup, we are ready to kick off the next hundred years,” the message insists. “It is time to bring this global event to two continents for the first time. We have a very ambitious goal in mind: to organize the most sustainable, innovative, and inclusive sports event in history. That is the game plan.” FIFA thus promises a responsible World Cup that defends the environment like never before.

Brand ambassadors

On the sidelines of the ceremony, the brand ambassadors of the tripartite bid were introduced. They include Noureddine Naybet, Luis Figo, and Andres Iniesta, as well as the captains of the men’s and women’s teams, Cristiano Ronaldo, Dolores Silva, Alvaro Morata, Irene Paredes, Achraf Hakimi, and Ghizlane Chebbak.
Former captain of the Togolese national football team, Emmanuel Adebayor, was also introduced as the ambassador of the competition in Africa.

On this occasion, the ambassadors expressed their pride in representing the tripartite bid, believing that this edition will bring together people from both continents and be the most successful of all. In this regard, former captain of the Moroccan national team, Noureddine Naybet, indicated that the 2030 World Cup will be among the best editions, considering the historical and geographical relations between Africa and Europe, and the passion of the people of the three countries, men and women, for the sport.

For her part, the captain of the Moroccan women’s football team, Ghizlane Chebbak, expressed her thanks and gratitude to His Majesty the King for His continuous support of sports and the development of a strategy to advance Moroccan sports in general and women’s sports in particular.

Fouzi Lekjaa confident

The joint bid of Morocco-Portugal-Spain for the organization of the 2030 World Cup aims to offer the world the best edition in football history, said FRMF president Fouzi Lekjaa. He noted that this football event draws its strength not only from being organized by three countries and two continents but also from its civilizational aspect linking the two shores of the Mediterranean through their history and the various civilizations that have succeeded in the region.
Stating that the three countries have all the logistical and other means to organize the World Cup under the best conditions, the FRMF president said that what will distinguish this joint organization of the World Cup most is the human dimension that characterizes the two shores of the Mediterranean basin.
According to Mr. Lekjaa, the three countries aim to reinforce these civilizational, cultural, and human dimensions that united them in the past and continue to unite them, emphasizing that the passion of the Moroccan, Spanish, and Portuguese people for this sport expressed during all continental and global sporting events confirms the importance of the football dimension and strengthens the relations between the three countries and their peoples.
