The Anfa Cultural Complex will host an event on March 28 titled “Together let’s sing our heritage” which will be led by the multi-instrumentalist musician Abdellah Ben Cherradi.
He will unveil his project “Mirath” which is described as a vibrant tribute to the richness and diversity of Moroccan musical heritage. “Founded by the artist himself, ‘Mirath’ is an invitation to discover the rhythms that have shaped the Moroccan identity. ‘Singing is vibrating with life, it is uniting with the rhythm of the instrument strings. Singing is letting the emotion express itself!'”
With these words, Mirath invites everyone to rediscover and celebrate Moroccan musical heritage in all its diversity,” say the organizers. From Aita to Chgouri, from Melhoun to Ghernati, including Gnaoua music, Hmadcha, Hassani, and Ghiwani, Mirath promises an immersive experience into the musical soul of Morocco. A true advocate of Moroccan musical art, Abdellah Ben Charradi is known for his ability to transmit this artistic heritage to different generations.
Through educational initiatives and captivating performances, he shares his passion and expertise, thus enriching Moroccan cultural heritage. His commitment goes beyond the stage, offering masterclasses that shed light on the richness and diversity of Moroccan music, encouraging the transmission of this invaluable heritage to future generations.
