Celebrated on March 27th at the Colisée cinema in Marrakech
On the occasion of World Theatre Day, which takes place on March 27th, the Ministry of Youth, Culture and Communication announced that it has scheduled a series of festive artistic activities at the national level. Developed in collaboration and coordination with regional and provincial authorities, this theatrical program will cover all cultural centers, theaters, and performance venues across the various regions of the Kingdom, the ministry specifies.
This year, the official celebration of World Theatre Day will take place this Wednesday at the Colisée cinema in Marrakech, with the ochre city being selected as the cultural capital of the Islamic world in 2024 by the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ICESCO). The program for the official celebration will include the reading of the World Theatre Day message, tributes to a number of artists, as well as the presentation of the play “La Victoria” by the Nicolò Accion troupe for cinema and theater from Ouled Tayma, winner of the Grand Prix at the 23rd edition of the national theatre festival.
