Moroccan cuisine, the result of a subtle blend of Berber, Arab-Muslim, Andalusian, African and French influences, will be magnified at the “Disciples Escoffier Maroc” event. Forty international chefs, all members of the Disciples Escoffier, will come together to share their passion and expertise. Among them, thirty new Moroccan Disciples Escoffier will be inducted, strengthening the great family of Moroccan gastronomy.
“The Association of Disciples of Escoffier Morocco, of which I have the honor of being the president, is pleased to bring together at this prestigious event great names of world gastronomy around the values of excellence, sharing and humanism dear to Auguste Escoffier,” said Lahcen Hafid, president of the Association of Disciples of Escoffier Morocco.
The IVth chapter will be under the patronage of the famous Chef Alain Passard, from the restaurant l’Arpège in Paris, and will have Farida Kabbaj as godmother, the first producer of foie gras in Morocco and chef of the restaurant F.Kabbaj in Casablanca. This event will take place in Rabat, offering an ideal setting for this gastronomic celebration. The event will also highlight the Escoffier Young Talents Competition, a platform dedicated to promoting young culinary and service talents from Morocco. This competition offers enthusiasts under 24 years old the opportunity to demonstrate their skills and creativity, while celebrating the culinary and cultural diversity of the country.
