Conferences and scientific workshops on the agenda
The 9th edition of the International Architecture Forum will take place between April and the end of October in the red city, initiated by the National School of Architecture in Marrakech (ENAM). Organized in partnership with the municipal council of Marrakech, the regional council of Marrakech-Safi, and other local and international partners, this event, which is set to start on April 14, is part of the program to celebrate the event “Marrakech, world capital of culture in the Islamic world for the year 2024,” under the High Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, indicates ENAM in a statement.
ENAM also added that they collaborated with the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO), the International Council on Monuments and Sites (Icomos), Italian and Spanish universities, as well as local and national organizations and associations, to develop a program of conferences and scientific workshops highlighting the civilization of the red city, with the participation of national and international public and private institutions, civil society actors, architects, university professors, and architecture students.
Through this initiative, ENAM aims to promote the exchange of experiences and knowledge on specific scientific and cultural themes related to the old Medina of Marrakech.
