A total of 41 projects have been carried out in the field of health in the province of Chtouka-Aït Baha during the third phase of the National Initiative for Human Development (INDH), at a total cost of approximately 27.6 million dirhams.
According to data from the social action division of the province of Chtouka-Aït Baha, these projects have focused on the construction of Dar Al Oumouma in the Aït Baha area, the construction and equipping of several health centers, and strengthening access to health services through the acquisition of equipped ambulances for the benefit of local communities and the Ministry of Health and Social Protection services.
There has also been the acquisition of medical equipment for the provincial hospital of Biougra and support for the hemodialysis center and associations operating in the field of social services. It also includes the care of around 200 students with hearing and visual impairments.
It is worth mentioning that since its launch in 2005, the INDH has made support for the health sector one of its main priorities, by planning a series of projects and operations related to improving access to health services for vulnerable social groups within the framework of its various programs and interventions.
