Morissanda Kouyaté at his installation: “A Guinean abroad with a problem is all of Guinea’s problem…”

http://Actuguinee.org / After being reinstated and confirmed in the Bah Oury government, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Integration, and Guineans Abroad was installed in his functions on Monday, March 18, 2024. The installation ceremony was presided over by the Government’s Secretary General Benoît Kamano in the presence of CNRD members and department officials.

In his speech, Minister Morissanda Kouyaté emphasized that youth, women, and Guineans abroad remain a priority for the government.

“A Guinean abroad who has a problem, it is the whole of Guinea that has a problem, and it is the whole of Guinea that will solve this problem,” he declared.

Furthermore, the Guinean Foreign Minister indicates that cooperation relations with sub-regional and international organizations should be based on “mutual and sovereign respect for each other.” He stated, “We respect the choices of others, and others must respect our choices. We are part of organizations whose work we respect, but Guinea’s destiny lies in the hands of the CNRD, the Head of State, and the people of Guinea,” the Minister of Foreign Affairs emphasized.

It should be noted that Dr. Morisanda Kouyaté is the only one to be confirmed in his position as Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Integration, and Guineans Abroad, a position he previously held in the former Goumou government.
