Award-winning Ghanaian Afrobeats artist and rapper, Bashir Annan, known as Gambo, is making big strides in his music career by establishing valuable connections with top personalities in the American music industry. After successful meetings with legendary American icons like Jermaine Dupri, Timberland, and Jim Jones, and other music executives, Gambo had a fruitful networking session with US rap icon, actor, and entrepreneur, Snoop Dogg, aka Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr.

The meeting between Gambo and Snoop Dogg took place in Los Angeles, California, at the African pre-Grammy Awards Global Affairs event. This event was initiated by Terry Williams, CEO of All We Do Is Work and presented by Godfather Entertainment with CEO Michael Harris, the co-founder of Death Roll Records. Here, Gambo had the opportunity to brief Snoop Dogg about his upcoming musical album, which he is currently recording in the United States. He has been busy working on his first full studio album following the successful release of his ‘New Era’ Extended Play (EP), which featured hit songs such as ‘Drip’, ‘Beautiful’, and ‘Settle’.

The founder of Doggy Style Records and Owner of Death Row Records, Snoop Dogg, was impressed by Gambo’s hard work and encouraged the singer to keep pushing and going beyond the limits. He even hinted at the possibility of visiting Ghana soon. Gambo, who committed his music career to marketing the positive side of Ghana internationally to promote tourism and diaspora investment, took it upon himself to teach Snoop Dogg Twi, the Akan language, so he could easily communicate with Ghanaians in their local dialect when he visits Ghana.

Aside from his high-profile meetings in the US, Gambo has been collaborating with fellow African musicians. He recently featured Nigeria’s Goya Menor on his street anthem, ‘Cut Soap’, and also worked with Nigerian artist, Lade, on his highly inspirational single, ‘Nobody’. Both of these collaborations received widespread attention and entered the charts in Ghana and Nigeria.

As a musician and an entrepreneur, Gambo strongly believes in the power of networking to create business opportunities and career development. His commitment to building bridges in the music industry and promoting a positive image of Ghana on the international stage is notable and is bound to have a lasting impact on the music landscape. With his forthcoming album and continued collaborations, Gambo’s international influence and reach in the music industry are set for a significant expansion. These positive developments underscore his growing stature as a force to be reckoned with in the global music scene.

In conclusion, Gambo’s networking efforts with top personalities in the American music industry, including his meeting with Snoop Dogg, exemplify his ambition and commitment to cementing his position on the global music stage. With his music career on the rise, he continues to make significant strides in establishing his presence internationally while promoting Ghana and African music at large. His dedication to building meaningful connections and fostering collaboration is shaping his music career in a positive direction, ensuring that his impact in the industry continues to grow.
