The Prime Minister, Pravind Jugnauth, and his wife, Kobita, walked to Ganga Talao, Grand’Bassin yesterday, as part of the Maha Shivaratree pilgrimage.

They began their walk around 3:30 pm, arriving at Grand’Bassin at 7 pm for rituals on the banks of the sacred lake and temples.

The Prime Ministerial couple traveled through several regions including Diolle, Glen-Park, La-Marie, and exchanged words with devotees on the way back and those converging towards the sacred lake.
