The two members of the Belle-Rose/Quatre-Bornes government (No 18), Minister Kavy Ramano and PPS Tania Diolle, as well as the mayor of Quatre-Bornes, were grilled by the Sodnac Neighbourhood Watch during a meeting with residents regarding various complaints about regional issues.
Citizens addressed several topics, including flooding, sidewalks, road infrastructure, and the distribution of trash bins. There was also discussion about permits for businesses and schools.
The two parliamentarians had a tough time explaining the current conditions under which they operate, while the mayor detailed the municipal constraints.
“We know that Quatre-Bornes has changed and is not the same city it used to be,” Minister Ramano said. Over the weekend, residents learned that the distribution of trash bins would take place during that time.
