The country is at a turning point. This is what the mauve deputy of constituency 20, Rajesh Bhagwan, made clear.
He spoke at a mobilization meeting organized in preparation for the May 1st meeting of the PTR-MMM Alliance in Port-Louis.
“The 1st of May will be overflowing. It will be an overflowing without precedent. Changes are coming,” he affirmed.
The deputy stated that May 1st will be a turning point for the future of the country.
Regarding the events that occurred in parliament last Tuesday, he stated that he has no intention of apologizing to the Speaker of the National Assembly.
“Do you think I’m crazy? He called me crazy. If I were crazy…they would put me in a mental institution,” continued Rajesh Bhagwan.
