Due to some technical adjustments by the Central Water Authority (CWA), water supply has been irregular in the eastern region of the island since Friday, February 23rd. Several villages, including Bel-Air, Beau-Champs, Deux-frères, Quatre-Soeurs, Grand-Sable, Petit-Sable, Marie-Jeanne, Trou-d’eau-Douce, Bramsthan, among others, are affected.

In a statement issued yesterday, the CWA assured that they are working to restore water supply as soon as possible. In fact, water tankers have been made available to the public. It is expected that the water supply will also be irregular on Saturday, February 24th.
