It was only a few days ago that the Curepipe municipality decided to fill the dangerous crevasses that served as the front entrance to the Ferrière clinic after months of neglectful indifference. While pressures here eventually led to action, elsewhere, there is still much work to be done.

Residents of the Bigara cemetery area are complaining about unfinished work following the implementation of the sewerage project. Those living on Paratian Lane are particularly displeased that once the Waste Water Management Authority project was completed, with damages to the roads and driveways, there was only a quick patchwork job done, but no proper resurfacing as should have been done.

They hope that those responsible for this situation will act promptly and not wait until the eve of elections to start addressing it.
