Dismayed by the “inaction of the authorities” in the face of the proliferation of potholes in the village of Caroline, Bel-Air, residents took matters into their own hands in a rather original way.
Feeling that these holes pose a danger to road users, these residents came up with the idea of filling a gaping hole along the main road of the locality with a large and beautiful green plant. Somewhat resembling those public roads interspersed with flowerbeds, banana trees, and other plants.
This unusual way of alerting the authorities was widely circulated on social media, with comments largely in favor of the authors of this initiative.
