Niono, April 6 (AMAP) The Land Cruiser ambulance, with registration number 6042 CAT, donated by Médecin Sans Frontières Belgium to the Niono Health District, was abducted last Friday around 8:30 PM by two unidentified armed men, AMAP learned from a local source.
Our source states that the Land ambulance, which was abducted, had just returned from a mission in the village of M’Bewani, located in the Niono area, before specifying that the bandits headed east of the city, activating the siren.
Latest reports indicate that a patrol has been deployed to locate the ambulance and retrieve it from the hands of these unidentified armed men who have been terrorizing this area in the center of the country for some time.
It should be noted that a curfew has been in place in Niono since March 7 by the Prefect of the Cercle.
