After the start of the work, the Circle Prefect, Souleymane Tembely, along with his delegation, visited the site on Wednesday to assess the progress of the work.

The delegation accompanying him included the mayor of the rural commune of Banamba, the chief of the land and cadastral service, the chief of the urban planning and housing subdivision service, the president of the civil society, the president of the Parents-Teachers Association (APE), the principal of LFIAAB high school, the site manager of the Malian construction company EMCI and the control group EMGC.

The work started on January 22, 2024, for an execution period of 120 days, or four months, funded by the MICRA project through the World Bank in the amount of 47,750,000 FCFA. The companies EMCI and EMGC are responsible for the execution of the work.

During this site visit, Prefect Tembely appreciated the progress of the work, especially with the quality of the tools and materials used.

However, Mr. Tembely suggested to the site controllers to be vigilant so that the debris from the construction work does not cause any inconvenience to the students of the school, a suggestion that was well received by the controllers.
