Malawi President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera recently made history by becoming the first sitting president since Dr. Hastings Kamuzu Banda to spend an extended period of time in the northern region of the country. During a 17-day official tour of the region, President Chakwera visited various districts and engaged in a range of activities aimed at monitoring and overseeing development projects.
