Former presidential adviser and spokesperson for the governing Malawi Congress Party (MCP), Rev. Maurice Munthali, recently made headlines when he branded President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera’s administration as worse than ever. He previously served as the CCAP Synod of Livingstonia general secretary and later assumed the role of Chakwera’s adviser on peace, reconciliation, and national unity.
