Three other passengers, Victoria Masautso, Blandina Kalulunga, and Juliet Bandawe, also sustained injuries ranging from fractured bones to deep wounds.

While rescuing the casualties at the first accident scene, a Mazda Axela driven by Kesswell Munthali approached from the same direction and lost control, hitting four people, including John Njolomole, the Central Poultry driver. This second collision led to the deaths of Munthali, Njolomole, and three other individuals who suffered severe head injuries and fractures.
