The taxi-be of line 160 ends its journey on its right side.

Abandoned by its brakes, a taxi-be from line 119 collided head-on with another public transport vehicle from a competing line.

A serious accident occurred the day before yesterday in Tsiadana. A child was seriously injured in the head and had to be evacuated to the hospital. The vehicle hit him in its frantic race. The passengers of the taxi-be, also injured during the overturning of the vehicle, had to be transported to the hospital for treatment. Fortunately, their lives are not in danger. These scenes, which caused a stir, occurred in the early afternoon, around 12:30, when a public transport vehicle operating on line 119 encountered a serious technical problem. According to information gathered, the brakes of this minibus suddenly became inoperative as it descended the road between Ankatso and Tsiadana.

Difficult to control, the taxi-be quickly picked up speed. In this frenzied race, it violently collided with another taxi-be from line 160 which was in front of it. The second public transport vehicle, a Mazda E2200 minibus, was violently struck from the rear, on the left side.

Every man for himself

The impact overturned it in one fell swoop. After this collision of great violence, the Mazda ended up on its right side. Also, the taxi-be from line 119 swerved to the other side of the road to end its journey in a corner of the street. Fortunately, no other collision occurred even though it rushed towards the lane used by vehicles from the opposite direction. The occupants of the two taxi-bes were rescued in a general scramble. Although several injuries were recorded in both vehicles, all are out of danger. The police quickly intervened at the scene of the accident after being alerted. After assisting the last victims on site, the officers present made their report.
