The press conference on the organization of the Tourism Good Deals Fair took place yesterday at Tsimbazaza.

The seventh edition of the Tourism Fair will take place from March 15 to 17 at the Antaninarenina garden. An opportunity to discover tourist circuits and products in a different light.

Customized tourism and new products. These appellations may be perceived as selling terms imbued with neologisms, and yet! These are approaches that have proven themselves for some time now. The occasion presents itself again to revitalize domestic tourism and diversify the products offered to a very important niche on a national scale. Tourism industry professionals will not miss the boat because, this year, the Tourism Good Deals Fair (Tsenaben’ny fizahantany) will be back. It is the annual rendezvous of tourism professionals which, for its seventh edition, will take place from March 15 to 17 at the Antaninarenina garden.

This event will be an opportunity for the eleven tour operators, specializing in “Customized Tourism,” to showcase their new tourist products. According to the explanations of Tsitohaina Andriamanohera, general director of tourism at the supervisory ministry, “the tourism fair is an opportunity to promote new circuits. It is not only the tourism professionals who will advertise the flagship sites, there is also this spirit of promoting regional tourist circuits. This is why regional tourism organizations will all be represented at this edition,” he mentioned at the headquarters of the Ministry of Tourism and Handicrafts at Tsimbazaza yesterday.

In a different light.

According to recent studies conducted by the Ministry of Tourism, the national tourism industry benefits from a potential that remains to be exploited. This is a niche of two million people. Visitors who could fuel the national tourism network. Madagascar aims to reach a million visitors by 2028. A targeted objective that poses a real challenge for both the State and the private sector that are giving their all. However, for the revival to be truly effective, national tourism also represents a sure guarantee. However, it will be necessary to start somewhere. To do this, the Ministry of Tourism has opted for offers affordable to Malagasy households as well as tourist products that allow them to see the country in a different light. “National tourism, here as everywhere in the world, appeals to all categories of people in a society. The offers have diversified to enable all people who want to embark on the adventure of discovering Madagascar to do so, with the means they have. That’s why this fair was organized to allow everyone to discover these new products. The goal is to make this fair a must-see place for all residents desiring to discover Madagascar from a new angle for the Easter holidays, for example,” insists the Director General of Tourism.
