On April 19, the Rose By-pass Space will host the highly anticipated meeting of the four legends of Salegy, namely Jaojoby, Mily Clément, Tianjama, and Jean Rigo.
Second edition. Salegy fans will immerse themselves in a unique event on April 19 at the Rose By-Pass space, where the long-awaited meeting between the giants of the genre, namely Jaojoby, Mily Clément, Tianjama, and Jean Rigo, will take place. This evening promises to be an unforgettable moment, bringing together the iconic figures of Salegy on the same stage. Although this is not the first edition of this event, the first one took place in 2018 at the Mahamasina Sports Palace with other Salegy artists, this new edition promises to be just as memorable. “These are the artists who make their mark and have an important place in the world of Salegy. In 2018, we invited artists like Ninie Donia, but she is no longer around. For this second edition, we tried to contact other iconic Salegy artists like Din Rotsaka, but he is not available this year. Others are on tour abroad at this time, and some are already settled abroad,” explains Hardi Jaurès Rajaonarivelo, the event organizer under the Label Production. National tour Faced with the unavailability of the Sports Palace for this date, the organizer chose the Rose By-Pass space, offering enthusiasts a unique musical experience in a slightly distant setting from the city, conducive to full immersion in Salegy music with these four legends. Each of the four artists will share the stage by performing their iconic solo titles, accompanied by their musicians. “There will be no duet, trio, or quartet among them, so each artist will have the opportunity to choose their own titles on stage,” the organizer explains. After this show at the Rose By-Pass space, a national tour is planned, including stops in Toamasina and the northern part of the island, before a possible tour.
