Deposit warrant. It concerns a 30-year-old mother who engaged in local heroin trafficking. She was locked up at the Antanimora central house on Wednesday. The national police, in the midst of the fight against drug trafficking, was informed of the illegal activities she carries out at her home in Tanjombato. According to information received by the cunning, she sells heroin to addicts in her neighborhood.

A narcotics brigade team (the Stups) went to the scene on Tuesday to trap her target. She was preparing her merchandise when she was taken away. Twenty-one small pieces of heroin, called “cocottes,” were seized before her eyes. According to her explanations, she bought them from a supplier in 67ha for a total amount of seventy thousand ariary.

She then fragments them and resells the entire carefully wrapped in cellophane for five thousand ariary. She was taken to the Stups office in Anosy, and her drugs were confiscated as material evidence. Subject to questioning, she admitted to the trafficking.
