Two men will be brought to the prosecutor’s office in Anosy for murder. They are suspected of killing a family head to steal his motorcycle-taxi, according to the gendarmerie.

The case is closed for two individuals suspected of premeditated murder of a motorcycle taxi driver. Held in custody and questioned at the Itaosy gendarmerie station since Monday morning, they will be transferred to the prosecutor’s office today. The motive for the crime is based on a motorcycle theft. Investigators have tried everything to make the suspects talk, to find out where they left their victim, but they remained silent.

Thanks to the results of a phone requisition, the gendarmes were able to locate the victim, found on Wednesday afternoon. Unfortunately, only his lifeless body remained, lying in the bushes in Mahitsy, in the Ambohidratrimo district. According to the findings of the report, the deceased had been hit on the head with a beer bottle. This is what the two suspected suspects would have admitted. Furthermore, one of them had a BigBoss gas flask in his possession. It all started with a rental transaction on Sunday morning in Anosizato, where the driver, a tenant and not the owner of the motorcycle taxi, used to park.

That day, his faithful client, who became his assassin, got in with him. He wanted to be taken to Ambohidratrimo and rented the motorcycle taxi for the whole day. The motorcyclist sent messages to his wife and a photo recently taken in a bushy area before becoming unreachable. That evening, his employer went to the Itaosy gendarmerie to report that he had not returned his motorcycle as usual, which seemed strange to him.

Using a geolocation system, the motorcycle was located the same night, at 10 p.m., in a parking lot in Tsarasaotra. The guard confessed to the gendarmes that two men had entrusted him with the motorcycle and that they would come back to retrieve it at dawn. Therefore, the gendarmes monitored the parking lot all night. At 5 a.m., the two individuals actually arrived and were easily apprehended.

Colleagues of the deceased confirmed that one of the captives was the client he had taken. The other was waiting for them in Mahitsy. That is where they savagely killed him.
