Yesterday, at the Prime Minister’s Palace in Mahazoarivo, a strategic meeting of partners organized by Christian Ntsay, Prime Minister, and Issa Sanogo, resident coordinator of the United Nations system, was held with government members, several ambassadors, as well as technical and financial partners of the country.
The general policy of the State for this second term of President Andry Rajoelina was at the heart of the discussions. The meeting mainly focused on the three pillars of this second term, and at the end of which, the international community, represented by Issa Sanogo, expressed satisfaction with the commitment of the current regime to putting “the population at the center of action.”
According to the resident coordinator, the international community is ready to contribute to making these general State policies effective. However, he explains that the nature of the assistance is determined after consultation with the sector ministries.
