This global event dedicated to the world of mobility is an opportunity to discover the latest innovations planned for 2024. Bringing together the world’s major leaders, technology enthusiasts, startups, and other key players, it will showcase the latest innovations in mobile connectivity. This year, Huawei will be alongside the biggest mobile technology companies to discover advancements and foster new collaborations.
Committed for years to supporting the private and public sector in Madagascar, Huawei Madagascar is investing heavily in the country, with nearly $15 million injected. In 2022, as a technical partner in the Telecommunications Networks Modernization Project in Madagascar, the company provided training to agents from the Ministry of Digital Development, Digital Transformation, Posts, and Telecommunications (MNDPT) on various areas such as data centers, FTTH networks (Fiber to the Home), network security, and more. Over a hundred agents from various organizations, including MNDPT, the state military transmissions office, the Telecommunications Technology Regulatory Authority, the Gendarmerie, the Ministry of Public Security, and Paositra Malagasy, benefited from this training.
Furthermore, Huawei Madagascar recently collaborated with the urban municipality of Antananarivo to install new telecommunications infrastructure, including a data management center, a fiber optic link, video conferencing devices, and secure 4G walkie-talkies for the capital. These initiatives aim to improve the autonomy and security of the Malagasy administration’s telecommunications network, increase the efficiency of public administrative procedures, strengthen coordination, and facilitate access to and exchange of information with citizens. Additionally, the state now has a data center in collaboration with Huawei that meets international Tier 2 standards.
Last year in Barcelona, over 120,000 major brands presented their latest innovations at the MWC. These included significant advancements in various areas such as smartphones, foldable screens, connected devices, 5G, and networking innovations and technologies.
On Sunday afternoon, on the eve of the MWC event, Huawei is organizing its meeting in the middle of the historic site of Poble Espanyol in Barcelona. Huawei group is bringing together journalists from around the world covering the annual MWC event along with insiders. Various company executives took turns presenting the evolution of Huawei Cloud to the public. The President of Huawei Europe opened the session, followed by the President of Huawei Cloud’s Global Marketing and Sales Services, among others. Huawei Cloud with its concept and numerous possibilities, as well as the Pangu model, virtual man, and the use of artificial intelligence in the automotive, weather, research, and development worlds were presented.
Thus, for five days, the Catalan capital will be vibrant for this Mobile World Congress.
