For fans of comic art, a new challenge is on the horizon for Global Money Week from March 18 to 24. Mvola is organizing a comic book contest on the theme “Protect your money, secure your future,” called “Hackathon BD MVola” for all enthusiasts of this art. This initiative aims to raise awareness among young people and children about crucial issues of financial management and savings, while celebrating artistic creativity.

The deadline for participation is set for March 11, 2024. Participants are invited to submit their work, composed of four panels, in A4 format, using either a pencil or a graphics tablet. “Candidates must also include their name and contact details and send their creation to the email address [email protected]. The six best works will be selected by a jury composed of artists and renowned personalities in the field, such as Njaka Ratefinanahary from the 72dpi collective, a comic artist, and Mandimby Ratsisompatrarivo from Mvola and others,” the organizer emphasizes.

The winner will receive a prize of 1,500,000 ariary, while the second and third prize winners will receive 1,000,000 ariary and 500,000 ariary respectively. An exceptional opportunity for artists to see their work recognized and rewarded at their true value.
