After a three-week journey in India, where she devoted herself wholeheartedly to the global beauty competition, Antsaly Rajoelina returns to her homeland, enriched with an experience that goes beyond just a competition. At the heart of this adventure, she describes the Beauty with a Purpose challenge as a true revelation, a pivotal moment that has illuminated her path towards a destiny she is forging ardently. “This challenge was crucial for me, it illuminated my path, revealing what I want to achieve in this life. Fighting against sexual violence towards children is my battle, a mission to which I wish to dedicate every breath of my existence,” she says, her gaze imbued with unwavering determination.
Beyond the competition, she aspires to deepen her knowledge in international relations, nurturing her ambitions and future projects, woven with her loved ones, both at home and abroad. Her participation in the Miss World pageant was not just marked by podium rivalry, but more so by the richness of exchanges and sharing.
“This experience has been a true crucible of encounters and discoveries. We, the one hundred twelve participants, have forged deep connections, sharing our cultures, hopes, and aspirations. Miss World was much more than a competition, it was an ode to friendship, a leap towards the future,” she reveals, her eyes sparkling with memories and emotions lived. Despite the challenges and moments of fatigue, Antsaly draws from this adventure the strength needed to pursue her dream, a dream forged in the pain of her past.
“The fight against sexual violence towards children is not something I embraced only for this competition. It is a battle that I have carried within me for so many years, forged in the shadows of my childhood. But this experience has reminded me of the urgency of this fight, the need to act, to transform pain into hope,” she confides, her voice filled with a quiet strength and extraordinary resilience.
