A chilling domestic scene. Last night, around 11:30 PM, a dispute between spouses took a tragic turn. A thirty-three-year-old woman lost her life. After attempting to commit suicide following the murder, her husband was, in turn, stopped and urgently taken to the hospital under escort. These scenes of devastation occurred in the neighborhood of Ambohimitsinjo, Andapa.
According to witnesses, tension escalated in the household when the couple argued over the purchase of a property. As the argument escalated on both the husband and wife’s sides, they eventually came to blows. Overcome by anger, the father of the family grabbed a butcher knife found in the house and used it against his wife. The investigation reveals that the deceased’s neck was deeply cut, and a large vessel was severed in the process.
Two Orphans
It was their children who raised the alarm after the unthinkable happened. Unfortunately, by the time neighbors came to their rescue, the mother had already passed away. Her blood-stained body lay in the house.
In the confusion, the Defense and Security Forces had already been alerted, and the investigation was immediately carried out. The deceased left behind two children. Witnessing the attack that cost their mother’s life, the poor children are traumatized. What happened that night is now causing people to speak up. The couple had always had good relations with their neighbors, and the father, in particular, appeared calm. Neighbors had a completely different perception of him until the serious incident the night before yesterday caused a shock in the neighborhood. The assailant is forty years old.
