A committal warrant to Tsiafahy Correctional Facility has been issued by the prosecutor’s office against a man accused of sexually abusing his 15-year-old domestic helper.

The plaintiff stated that his niece is suffering after undergoing repeated rapes committed by her own boss for a year and a half. Upon questioning, the girl confirmed the truth of the story and confessed that she is six months pregnant.

Information gathered from various sources indicates that the man and his family are caretakers of a house owned by someone abroad. The girl, who has no blood relationship with him or his wife, started working for them in 2021. She never had the habit of going out.
The man took advantage of this to satisfy his vices. He had consensual sexual intercourse with her, without physical violence or threats, each time his wife and children were not home. Explanations from the investigation reveal that the employee did not resist her “assailant”.
