LP demands investigation into secretariat attack, alleges insider involvement

The Lagos State chapter of the Labour Party (LP) has called on President Bola Tinubu, the Nigeria Police, and the Department of State Services (DSS) to investigate and prosecute those responsible for the recent attack on its state secretariat.

Speaking at a press conference on Tuesday, the Lagos LP Chairperson, Mrs. Dayo Ekong, described the attack, which occurred on Monday while party leaders were in Abuja for the National Executive Council meeting, as a “heinous crime against the state.”

“We urge President Bola Tinubu, Inspector-General Kayode Egbetokun, and the State Security Director to urgently intervene in this matter,” Ekong said.
