Nigerian singer and former signee of Davido Music Worldwide (DMW), Lil Frosh, has pleaded with his former boss for a second chance. This comes after he was accused of assault by his ex-girlfriend, Gift Camille, in 2020. Her brother, Michael, took to social media to allege that Lil Frosh had assaulted Camille on multiple occasions and shared photos of her badly bruised face. The singer was subsequently arraigned before a Yaba magistrate court and remanded in Ikoyi prison.
In response to the allegations, Davido terminated Lil Frosh’s contract with DMW. However, Camille later withdrew her case against Lil Frosh in 2022 after a settlement out of court.
Now, in a post on his Instagram page, Lil Frosh has maintained his innocence and pleaded with Davido for another chance to revive his career. He claims that he was framed and blackmailed, insisting that he did not beat Camille. Despite his efforts to explain the situation to Davido, the singer felt that he wasn’t given a fair hearing due to the zero-tolerance policy for violence against women.
Lil Frosh, in his plea, highlighted the impact of the allegations on his career and lamented the lack of support he received. He expressed his desire for another opportunity to prove himself and requested the public’s assistance in appealing to Davido for a second chance.
The plea for a second chance reflects Lil Frosh’s determination to overcome the obstacles that have impacted his career. As he seeks redemption and a fresh start, the singer hopes to demonstrate his commitment to personal growth and positive change, ultimately regaining the trust and support of his former boss and the music industry.
