Tunisian customs at the Ras Ajdir border crossing have foiled a smuggling attempt. Authorities seized 2.8 million dinars in foreign currency. They also confiscated six gold bars weighing over 14 kilograms. The contraband was carefully hidden inside a vehicle. Two individuals in the car were preparing to leave Tunisian territory.

Customs officials stated the inspection uncovered the money and gold bars. They were securely concealed within the vehicle. A seizure report was immediately filed….
