Libya: Tunisian Customs seizes more than 900 thousand dollars and 14 kg of gold before being smuggled from Tunisia to Libya

Tunisian customs at the Ras Ajdir border crossing have foiled a smuggling attempt. Authorities seized 2.8 million dinars in foreign currency. They also confiscated six gold bars weighing over 14 kilograms. The contraband was carefully hidden inside a vehicle. Two individuals in the car were preparing to leave Tunisian territory.
