Saleh Boumbarka issued a warning. He is the Director of Animal Resources in Al-Jabal Al-Akhdar. He stated the region’s meat crisis is worsening.

The Director spoke to the Libyan News Agency. He emphasized that animal resources are vital for Libyan food security. Roughly half of Barqa’s breeders depend on livestock. It is their main source of income.
