Libya: Heavy rain floods streets in the city of Zawiya

Al-Zawiya – The city of Al-Zawiya witnessed a significant rise in rainwater levels today, Monday. Heavy rainfall affected several city streets. This led to traffic disruption in some city neighborhoods.

The municipality confirmed that specialized emergency teams are continuing their efforts. They are working to pump out water. They are also removing stranded vehicles. These efforts aim to ensure citizen safety. They will restore normal traffic flow in the streets.
