Libya: Detention of Employees at Al-Jumhuriya Branches in Mizran and Mellitah on Charges of Embezzling Around 9.9 Million Dinars

Libya – The Public Prosecution has ordered the detention of two employees at the Mizran and Mellitah branches of Jumhouria Bank on charges of embezzling approximately 9.9 million dinars from the bank’s funds.

According to a statement from the Public Prosecution’s media office, investigators examined the legitimacy of transactions carried out at both branches between 2013 and 2021.
