Libya: Deputy Special Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations in Libya visits polling centers in Tajoura and praises the positive impression of the voting day

Tripoli – Ulrika Richardson visited polling centers in Tajoura Saturday. She serves as the Deputy Special Representative of the Secretary-General and Resident Coordinator.

Richardson also welcomed the peaceful start of voting day. She noted positive initial impressions of the experimental biometric system. This system is an encouraging step. It aims to enhance the credibility of local elections.
