Libya: Arrest of 7 Libyans in Chad pending their trial in the case of killing more than 100 gazelles near the border

Seven Libyans were arrested in Chad for suspected involvement in illegal hunting activities. The arrests took place in the Tibesti region near the Libyan border. This information was reported by the English-language newspaper The Tanzanian Times.

Chadian media confirmed the suspects are accused of chasing and killing more than 100 deer. Chadian wildlife and forest protection police carried out the arrests.

The detainees will soon appear in court. They may be deported to Libya at a later date….
